Fabricate uses a credit-based system. Every message you send in the chat uses credits, based on the work Fabricate does to handle it — including messages that only ask a question.
Prices, credit allowances, and limits change over time, so this page doesn’t list them. See the pricing page for the current numbers.

All plans use the same advanced AI models — there’s no tier-gating on AI quality. Annual billing is available on Pro and Scale.

How Credits Work

Credits are a measure of AI computation. The more complex your request, the more tokens are processed — and the more credits are used. One credit represents a fixed quantity of weighted AI tokens. Different kinds of tokens count differently — the code Fabricate writes counts for more than the context it reads — and each step Fabricate takes while handling your message is billed separately, with a small minimum per step. Tokens include both the input (your message + the app context Fabricate reads) and the output (the code and replies Fabricate writes).

What a Build Costs

A first build of a new app costs far more than a follow-up edit, and a small text or style change costs a fraction of a new feature. Each plan also caps how many credits a single build can use. A build that reaches its cap stops at a safe point, keeps everything it has written, and offers Continue build so you can finish it.
Actual credit usage depends on your app’s current size and the complexity of your request.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — plan credits reset each cycle (every 30 days on Free, every month on Pro and Scale), and unused plan credits don’t carry over. Credits you buy in a credit pack never expire.
