Do I need to know how to code?

No. Fabricate is an AI app builder for people who do not write code: you describe the app in plain words, Fabricate builds it, and you change it by asking for changes in a chat. On the paid Pro and Max plans you can also download the code.

Is it a real app or just a design?

Fabricate builds real, working web apps rather than mockups or static designs. An app can give its users their own sign-in and stores what they enter in its own database. Every app is opened in a real browser before it can be published, and one that crashes or renders a blank page is blocked from going live.

What happens when my free credits run out?

Apps built on Fabricate keep working when the credits run out, because credits pay for building and changing apps, not for keeping them online. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month, which refill every month and do not roll over. To keep building before the refill, upgrade to Pro, which includes 350 credits a month for $25.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Fabricate's paid Pro and Max plans, which connect 5 on Pro and 20 on Max. Apps on the Free plan are published at their own free link on a fabricate.chat subdomain.

Who owns what I build?

Under Fabricate's Terms of Service you own the applications and code Fabricate generates for you, as well as the prompts and content you submit; Fabricate does not claim ownership of generated output. Apps on the Free plan are public, and the Pro and Max plans can make apps private.
