For tutors

Describe your tutoring app. Fabricate builds it.

Fabricate is an AI app builder for tutors and private teachers: describe your subjects, your students and what you track, and it builds a working web app for lesson booking and progress notes, with its own database and a live link to share. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month and needs no credit card.

Try it yourself first, then ask for changes in the same chat.

Lesson booking page

Students or parents pick a subject and a free lesson time.

A booking website for my tutoring business. Parents or students choose a subject (maths, English or science), a lesson length and a free time slot, then leave their name, phone number and the student's school year. No account needed to book. Only I can sign in, and I see all lessons for the week and can cancel or move one.

Student progress notes

What each lesson covered and what comes next, shared with each family.

A progress notes app for my tutoring students. After each lesson I record the date, the topics covered, how the student did and the next topic. Families join with an invite code I give them and see only their own child's notes. I see every student and can filter by subject.

Homework tracker

Assignments with due dates, marked done or late.

A homework tracker for my tutoring business. I set homework for each student with a description and a due date. Students join with an invite code I give them, see only their own homework and mark it as done. I see which homework is late for each student.

Lesson package balance

How many prepaid lessons each family has left.

An app to track prepaid lesson packages for my tutoring students. For each family I record the packages they bought, for example ten lessons, and each lesson taken, and show how many lessons are left. Only I can sign in. List the families with two or fewer lessons left.

Where the teaching week goes

The lessons are the job. The arranging and the updates are extra.

Lessons arranged by message

Parents and students ask for times by text, and every reschedule is another thread.

Progress in a notebook

What you covered, where a student struggled and the next topic are written down somewhere, if at all.

Homework that goes missing

Assignments go out by message and come back late, or not at all.

Families asking for updates

Parents want to know how it is going, and writing each update takes an evening.

What your tutoring app comes with

Sign-in for students and families

Ask for families or students to join with an invite code you give them, so each one sees only their own lessons and notes. New students book without an account.

Its own database

Lessons, notes and homework are saved in the app's own database and are still there tomorrow.

A live link to share

Publish and the app gets its own address, like your-tutoring.fabricate.chat, for your website or a message to a family.

Your own domain

On Pro and Max, connect a domain you already own, like yourtutoring.com.

Changes in plain words

Add a subject, a lesson length or a report by asking in the chat, the same way you described the app.

Works on a phone

Apps are built for phones as well as laptops, so families can check them on the go.

Questions from tutors

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the app in your own words and Fabricate builds it. To change something, you ask in the chat the same way.
Can students book lessons themselves?
Yes, if you ask for it. Describe your subjects, your lesson lengths and when you teach, and Fabricate builds a booking page where students or parents pick a time and leave their details. Make a few test bookings yourself before you share the link.
Can it take payment or send lesson reminders?
Not on its own. Fabricate does not take card payments or send text messages for you. The app can show tomorrow's lessons with each family's phone number and how many prepaid lessons are left, so reminders and payment requests are quick to send yourself.
Who can see student notes?
Only the people you choose, if you ask for that when you describe the app: say that only you can sign in, or that families join with an invite code you give them. A sign-in that anyone can register for does not keep student notes and family contact details private. On Free, anyone with the link can open the app itself, so keep those details behind that owner or invite-only sign-in. On Pro and Max you can make the whole app private.
Will my test lessons show up in the live app?
No. Publishing gives the live app a fresh database of its own, so the test entries you made in the preview stay behind.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Max. On Free, a published app gets its own free address on fabricate.chat.
What does it cost?
You can start on Free, which includes 60 credits a month and needs no card. A whole new app usually takes about 20 to 35 credits and a small change about 3 to 10 credits. Current plans are on the pricing page.
