Included

Search and Filters

Search by title and place, and filter by job type, pay and date posted.

Paid Job Posts

On Pro and Max, employers can pay you to post or feature a job through Stripe Checkout into your own Stripe account.

How It Works

Build Your Indeed Clone in 3 Steps

  1. 1

    Describe It

Tell Fabricate what features you want in your Indeed clone. Be as specific or general as you like.

  2. 2

    Generate It

Fabricate builds it as a web app with its own database and sign-in, and on Pro and Max card payments into your own Stripe account. Try it in the preview and ask for changes in the same chat.

  3. 3

    Launch It

Publish your clone with one click on Pro, and share its link with your first users.

In-depth guide

What goes into an Indeed clone built with Fabricate

An Indeed clone is a job board: employers post jobs, job seekers search and apply, and each employer works through its applicants. Built with Fabricate, it is one web app made from your description, with public job pages, an employer side and an admin page for you, sharing one database.

Jobs and applicants: each job has a title, a place, a pay range and questions for applicants. Job seekers apply with their details and a link to their CV, and the employer moves each one through the stages you describe.

Money: On Pro and Max, the app can take card payments through Stripe Checkout, paid into your own Stripe account, which you connect under More > Payments. That suits fees from employers, such as a price per post or a featured spot. Fabricate takes no share of what you are paid; Stripe charges its own card fees.

What is not built in: employers opening uploaded CV files, job alerts by email or text message, importing jobs from other sites and phone apps from the App Store or Google Play.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make money from a job board?
On Pro and Max, the app can take card payments through Stripe Checkout, paid into your own Stripe account, which you connect under More > Payments. Charge per job post, for a featured spot or for a monthly employer plan. Fabricate takes no share of what you are paid; Stripe charges its own card fees.
Can applicants upload a CV?
They can, but an uploaded document stays private to you, the app's owner: employers cannot open it in the app. Ask applicants for a link to their CV as well, or screen applicants yourself if you run the board as an agency.
Will employers know when someone applies?
They see new applicants when they open their jobs. On Pro and Max, each new request sent through the app's forms, such as a booking or an enquiry, can also go to Slack, Zapier, Make or a webhook, under More > Connectors.
Can it help screen applicants?
On Pro and Max, the app can use AI, to draft, answer, sort or summarise, with no AI account or key of your own; each answer is paid from your credits. For example, it can sort applicants against the job's must-haves for the employer to check.
Will it show up on Google?
Publishing on Pro puts it on the web, where search engines and AI assistants look. Under More > SEO & AI search you can see what they read on your live site and change its title and description. Nobody can promise a place in search results.
Is it legal to build an Indeed clone?
Building an app that works in a similar way is common, but do not use Indeed's name, logo, design or content. Fabricate writes your app's code from your description and does not copy Indeed's code. Pick a name of your own, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.
