ServiceTitan sells three plans, Starter, Essentials and The Works, and every one is priced on request. If you run a smaller crew, want a price you can see before you call, or need a job tracker shaped around your own work, here are four alternatives and what each one does.

Every ServiceTitan plan says "Request Pricing", so there is no price to compare before a sales call.
A crew of a few people often needs a smaller tool with a published price.
Jobber and Housecall Pro list their plans and prices on their pricing pages.
Fits: JobberA job tracker shaped around your own work, where each person sees their jobs for the day, with no price per person who signs in.
Fits: FabricateFabricate beside ServiceTitan, feature by feature.
Best for: A job tracker for a small crew
Builds a job tracking app from your description: customers send a service request without an account, you turn each request into a work order with a date and the person assigned, and each person on your team signs in with an invite code to see their jobs for the day in a phone's browser. Route planning, live locations, sending invoices and text messages are not built in. Building and previewing are free; publishing is on Pro and Max.
Checks before you publish

What it does well
Save your customer list from ServiceTitan as a CSV file, or copy it into a spreadsheet and save it as CSV.
The jobs you take, the stages a job goes through, who does them and what you record on each visit.
Ask for a page, behind your own sign-in, that adds the rows of your CSV file to the app's own database.
Send a request, turn it into a job and finish it as a team member in the preview.
On Pro, one press of Publish gives it its own address to share, after the same browser check.

ServiceTitan is field service software built for larger trade businesses, sold in three plans, Starter, Essentials and The Works. Its pricing page lists no prices: each plan asks you to request one.
Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceM8 publish their plans and prices, so a smaller business can see what it would pay before it talks to anyone. Each one is ready-made software with scheduling, quotes and invoices.
A business with many crews and dispatchers is the one ServiceTitan is built for. A crew of a few people often needs much less: requests coming in, jobs assigned for the day and a record of what was done.
A job tracking app built with Fabricate is your own web app: customers send a service request without an account, you turn it into a work order with a date and the person assigned, and each person signs in to see their own jobs. Route planning, live locations, sending invoices or text messages to customers, and connecting to accounting software are not built in. The app keeps each job with the customer's details and the price, so an invoice is quick to send from the accounting software you use.

About this guide
Written by the Fabricate team. Fabricate is our product, so it is first on this page and marked "We make this". Where a reason to switch fits another tool better, the reason says which.
Each tool's card lists the pages we read about it and the day we read them. We compared the tools from their own pricing pages and documentation, not by signing up for them. Spotted something out of date? Write to info@fabricate.build.
