For contractors

Describe your contracting app. Fabricate builds it.

Fabricate is an AI app builder for contractors and remodelers: describe your projects, your crew and what clients ask about, and it builds a working web app for estimate requests, project tracking and a client project page, with its own database and a live link to share. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month and needs no credit card.

Try it yourself first, then ask for changes in the same chat.

Contractor apps you can start from

Choose one and the builder opens with its description filled in. Change any word before you build.

Estimate request form

Leads describe the project, the budget range and the timing before you call.

An estimate request website for my contracting business. Visitors choose the project type (kitchen, bathroom, addition, deck or repair), describe the work, choose a budget range and a preferred start month, and leave their name, phone number, email and address. No account needed. Only I can sign in, and I see every request in one list and mark each one as new, site visit booked, estimate sent, won or lost.

Project tracker

Each project split into phases and tasks, with who is on each one.

A project tracker for my contracting business. Each project has a client, an address, a start date and phases such as demolition, rough-in, inspection and finish, each with tasks, a due date and the crew member assigned. Crew join with an invite code I give them, see the tasks assigned to them and mark each one as done with a note. I see every project and which tasks are late.

Client project page

Each client sees their own schedule, this week's work and the change requests.

A client project page for my contracting business. Clients join with an invite code I give them and see only their own project: the phases with their dates, what is happening this week and the list of change requests with a description, a price and a status of proposed, approved or declined. A client can approve or decline a change request, and the app records the date. I see every project.

Subcontractor and supplier list

Trades and suppliers by specialty, with notes and the jobs they worked on.

A subcontractor and supplier directory for my contracting business. For each one: company name, contact name, phone number, email, specialty (electrical, plumbing, drywall, roofing, lumber or other), notes and the projects they worked on. Only I can sign in. Filter by specialty and search by name.

Where the project week goes

The build runs on a plan. The questions around it arrive one call at a time.

Estimate requests without the details

Leads call or message with half the information, and getting the rest takes another round of calls.

Clients asking where things stand

Homeowners want to know what happens this week, and each update is another text from the job site.

Changes agreed in passing

A change to the job is agreed on site and then remembered differently a month later.

Project software built for builders with an office

Construction platforms are priced and designed for firms with a project manager and an office team.

What your contracting app comes with

Sign-in for crew and clients

Ask for crew logins and client logins that each join by an invite code you give them, so a client sees only their own project.

Its own database

Projects, tasks, clients and change requests are saved in the app's own database and are still there tomorrow.

A live link to share

Publish and the app gets its own address, like your-builds.fabricate.chat, for your website, your truck or a message to a client.

Your own domain

On Pro and Max, connect a domain you already own, like yourbuilds.com.

Changes in plain words

Add a project phase, a field or a report by asking in the chat, the same way you described the app.

Works on a phone

Apps are built for phones as well as laptops, so the crew can update a task from the site.

Questions from contractors

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the app in your own words and Fabricate builds it. To change something, you ask in the chat the same way.
Can clients follow their project online?
Yes, if you ask for it. Say that clients join with an invite code you give them and see only their own project, and describe what they should see. Before you share the link, sign up as two test clients and check that neither can see the other's project.
Can it take payments or send updates for me?
Not on its own. Fabricate does not take card payments or send text messages or emails to your customers. The app can show each project's schedule and open change requests in one place, so the update you send a client is quick to write. One thing it does do: once your app is published, every booking, order or enquiry a customer sends through it is kept under Responses in Fabricate, and you get an email for each one, up to a daily limit.
Does it replace my estimating or accounting software?
No. It is a place for requests, schedules and the project details your crew and clients need. Keep estimates, invoices and tax records in the software you use for them today.
Who can see client and project details?
Only the people you choose, if you ask for that when you describe the app: say that only you can sign in, or that crew and clients join with an invite code you give them. A sign-in that anyone can register for does not keep client names, addresses and project details private. On Free, anyone with the link can open the app itself, so keep those details behind that owner or invite-only sign-in. On Pro and Max you can make the whole app private.
Will my test projects show up in the live app?
No. Publishing gives the live app a fresh database of its own, so the test entries you made in the preview stay behind.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Max. On Free, a published app gets its own free address on fabricate.chat.
What does it cost?
You can start on Free, which includes 60 credits a month and needs no card. A whole new app usually takes about 20 to 35 credits and a small change about 3 to 10 credits. Current plans are on the pricing page.
