For food trucks

Describe your food truck app. Fabricate builds it.

Fabricate is an AI app builder for food trucks: describe your menu, your stops and the events you cater, and it builds a working web app for order-ahead pickup and a weekly location schedule, with its own database and a live link to share. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month and needs no credit card.

Try it yourself first, then ask for changes in the same chat.

Food truck apps you can start from

Choose one and the builder opens with its description filled in. Change any word before you build.

Order-ahead pickup

Customers choose from the menu and a pickup time, and pay at the window.

An order-ahead website for my food truck. Customers see today's menu with prices, choose items and quantities, pick a pickup time in 15-minute slots and leave their name and phone number. They pay at the window; no account needed. Only I can sign in, and I see today's orders by pickup time, mark each one as preparing, ready or collected, and mark menu items as sold out.

Weekly location schedule

A public page showing where the truck is today and this week.

A location schedule website for my food truck. I add each stop with a date, the place name, the address, the start and end time and a note. Only I can sign in to change it. The public page shows today's stop at the top with a link that opens the address in a maps app, then the rest of the week.

Event booking requests

Organizers send the date, the guest count and the menu they want.

An event request form for my food truck. Organizers enter the event date, the start and end time, the address, the expected number of guests, the menu items they are interested in and their name, phone number and email. No account needed. Only I can sign in, and I see every request in one list and mark each one as new, quoted, confirmed or declined.

Prep and stock list

What to prep for each service, based on what sold last time.

A prep list app for my food truck. I record each ingredient with the amount in stock and the amount each menu item uses, and after each service I enter how many of each item sold. Only I can sign in. Show the ingredients running low and a prep list for the next service based on the last four services.

Where the food truck week goes

Service is a few hours. Telling people where you are takes the rest.

A long line at lunch

Everyone arrives at once, and the people at the back leave before they order.

"Where are you today?"

Your location changes by the day, and regulars ask in comments and messages.

Event requests by message

Private events and festivals ask for dates, headcounts and menus in long threads.

Running out mid-service

Prep is a guess, and the popular item sells out an hour early.

What your food truck app comes with

A sign-in you control

Ask for a sign-in that only you can use, or staff logins that join by your invite. Customers order or check the schedule without an account.

Its own database

Orders, stops and event requests are saved in the app's own database and are still there tomorrow.

A live link to share

Publish and the app gets its own address, like your-truck.fabricate.chat, for your bio, a QR code on the truck or a text to a regular.

Your own domain

On Pro and Max, connect a domain you already own, like yourtruck.com.

Changes in plain words

Change the menu, a price or a stop by asking in the chat, the same way you described the app.

Works on a phone

Apps are built for phones as well as laptops, so customers order from the line and you see orders in the truck.

Questions from food truck owners

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the app in your own words and Fabricate builds it. To change something, you ask in the chat the same way.
Can customers order ahead?
Yes, if you ask for it. Describe your menu and how pickup works, and Fabricate builds an order page that saves each order with a pickup time. Place a few test orders yourself before you share the link.
Can it take payment online?
Not on its own. Fabricate does not take card payments or send text messages for you. Customers order ahead and pay at the window, the way they do today. One thing it does do: once your app is published, every booking, order or enquiry a customer sends through it is kept under Responses in Fabricate, and you get an email for each one, up to a daily limit.
Can I show where the truck is today?
Yes, as a schedule you keep up to date: you add each day's stop and hours, and the public page shows today's and the week's stops. It does not track the truck's live location.
Who can see customer orders?
Only the people you choose, if you ask for that when you describe the app: say that only you can sign in, or that staff join with an invite code you give them. A sign-in that anyone can register for does not keep customer names and phone numbers private. On Free, anyone with the link can open the app itself, so keep those details behind that owner or invite-only sign-in. On Pro and Max you can make the whole app private.
Will my test orders show up in the live app?
No. Publishing gives the live app a fresh database of its own, so the test entries you made in the preview stay behind.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Max. On Free, a published app gets its own free address on fabricate.chat.
What does it cost?
You can start on Free, which includes 60 credits a month and needs no card. A whole new app usually takes about 20 to 35 credits and a small change about 3 to 10 credits. Current plans are on the pricing page.
