For photographers

Describe your photography app. Fabricate builds it.

Fabricate is an AI app builder for photographers: describe your sessions, your packages and what each client needs to know, and it builds a working web app for session booking and a client portal, with its own database and a live link to share. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month and needs no credit card.

Try it yourself first, then ask for changes in the same chat.

Photography apps you can start from

Choose one and the builder opens with its description filled in. Change any word before you build.

Session booking page

Clients pick a session type and a free date; you see the month in one list.

A booking website for my photography business. Clients choose a session type (portrait, family, headshots or event), a date and a free time slot, then leave their name, phone number, email and the location they have in mind. No client account needed to book. Only I can sign in, and I see all sessions for the month and can cancel or move one.

Client portal

Each client sees their shoot, its status and the gallery link when it is ready.

A client portal for my photography business. Clients join with an invite code I give them and see only their own shoots: the date, the location, the package, a status of booked, shot, editing or delivered, and the gallery link I paste in when their photos are ready. I see every client and every shoot and can change the status.

Shoot planner

Locations, shot lists and the people to include, ready on your phone.

A shoot planning app for my photography business. For each shoot I record the client, the date, the address, the shot list, the people to include and notes. Only I can sign in. Show this week's shoots in date order, with each shot list easy to read on my phone and a box to tick each shot off.

Inquiry tracker

Every inquiry in one list, from new to booked, with a follow-up date.

An inquiry tracker for my photography business. People fill in a form with their name, email, the kind of shoot, a preferred date and a message. Only I can sign in, and I see every inquiry in one list, mark each one as new, quoted, booked or lost, and set a follow-up date. Show the inquiries due for a follow-up today.

Where the shooting week goes

The shoot is a few hours. The messages before and after it are not.

Inquiries in every inbox

Requests arrive by email, social messages and contact forms, and each one needs the same questions answered before it becomes a booking.

Shoot details in scattered notes

Locations, shot lists and the names of everyone in the photo live in threads you scroll back through on the day.

"When are my photos ready?"

Clients ask where their gallery is, and each answer means looking up where the edit has got to.

Studio software for bigger studios

All-in-one studio platforms charge a monthly fee for contracts, invoicing and workflows a solo photographer may not need.

What your photography app comes with

Sign-in for you and your clients

Ask for client logins that join by an invite code you give them, so each client sees only their own shoots. New clients book without an account.

Its own database

Sessions, clients and shoot notes are saved in the app's own database and are still there tomorrow.

A live link to share

Publish and the app gets its own address, like your-photography.fabricate.chat, for your website, your bio or a message to a client.

Your own domain

On Pro and Max, connect a domain you already own, like yourphotography.com.

Changes in plain words

Add a session type, a package or a status by asking in the chat, the same way you described the app.

Works on a phone

Apps are built for phones as well as laptops, so the shot list is with you on location.

Questions from photographers

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the app in your own words and Fabricate builds it. To change something, you ask in the chat the same way.
Can clients book a session online?
Yes, if you ask for it. Describe your session types, how long each one lasts and when you shoot, and Fabricate builds a booking page where clients pick a date and leave their details. Make a few test bookings yourself before you share the link.
Can it take deposits or send reminders?
Not on its own. Fabricate does not take card payments or send text messages or emails to your customers. The app can show which sessions are still waiting on a deposit, with each client's email and phone number, so a payment request or a reminder is quick to send yourself. One thing it does do: once your app is published, every booking, order or enquiry a customer sends through it is kept under Responses in Fabricate, and you get an email for each one, up to a daily limit.
Can I deliver photos through the app?
Keep the gallery service you use today for the photo files. The client portal can hold the link to each client's gallery next to their shoot, so clients find it in one place.
Who can see client details?
Only the people you choose, if you ask for that when you describe the app: say that only you can sign in, or that clients join with an invite code you give them. A sign-in that anyone can register for does not keep client names, contact details and shoot locations private. On Free, anyone with the link can open the app itself, so keep those details behind that owner or invite-only sign-in. On Pro and Max you can make the whole app private.
Will my test bookings show up in the live app?
No. Publishing gives the live app a fresh database of its own, so the test entries you made in the preview stay behind.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Max. On Free, a published app gets its own free address on fabricate.chat.
What does it cost?
You can start on Free, which includes 60 credits a month and needs no card. A whole new app usually takes about 20 to 35 credits and a small change about 3 to 10 credits. Current plans are on the pricing page.
